A good set of decent quality tools. Definitely not Snap-On or Mac tools quality but you get what you pay for, a good set for the weekend warrior. Should have everything you need to tackle most mild to moderate repair jobs on a vehicle, lawnmower etc. Set seems to be geared towards automotive/engine repair. I bought it to take into pick and pull car salvage yards. It fits the bill well for this. But you kind of do need a few extra tools with this set, namely longer ratchets or a ratchet and wrench extender. The wrenches in this set are ridiculously small the 10mm is about 4 inches long. The largest wrench the 14mm can't be much more than 5-6" in length. Not even close to enough to remove stubborn 14mm nuts or bolts. Basically only good for holding a nut while you use the ratchet to loosen. The ratchets all suffer from the same issue. Why oh why are manufactures so resistant to giving you enough length to actually break loose stubborn bolts?? That's my main complaint with this set. If all the wrenches were 2-4" longer in length and all the ratchets 2-4" longer in handle length this set would be much better. As is, 50% of the bolts you will encounter will be too difficult to remove with these short little handled tools. They sell clever extenders that increase the length of a wrench or ratchet handle which is nearly mandatory with this set. I strongly advise investing in one of these extenders unless you are uncommonly strong.A few important tools are missing, such as deep sockets in 18mm or 19mm. There are small sockets up to 21mm which is nice but no deep sockets past 17mm which is restrictive. Of course the socket sizes have to stop somewhere but having a deep 19mm socket would have been nice, I'd rather have that than a deep 16mm which you'll never use.A 15mm wrench would have been nice, that's an often used size. 17mm wrench also would have been nice. You mainly need 8mm, 10mm, 13mm, 14mm, 15mm and 17mm. This kit is missing 15 and 17mm. But those wrenches would probably be so small anyway they would almost be unusable for actually breaking loose a bolt of that size.SAE sockets are almost obsolete, more and more manufacturers are going to metric exclusively. If they offered a smaller more comprehensive set with exclusively metric sockets and wrenches I would have preferred that.Screw drivers are nice and comprehensive. No complaints. channel locks, adjustable and "needle nose" are all good quality and all labeled with "Crescent". The adjustable wrench in particular seems to be of a very nice quality. Hence the moniker "Crescent wrench" these guys have been making these things for a long time and they are good quality. There are even markings which will tell you the size of the bolt by how open the jaws are. A good tool and nice feature. Needle nose are a bit too big for my liking, one large and one very small needle nose would have been better I think. I see some reviews saying the adjustable wrench, needle nose and channel locks are poor quality and not labeled with Crescent. That was not the case with my set, each tool had the label "Crescent" and appeared to me to be a relatively good quality tool.Allen wrenches are standard, not great but they're there if you need them. Larger size allens probably not included. The case I actually liked. These plastic socket cases have been around for awhile now and most people, like me, aren't big fans of them. This case is better than some. The sockets are difficult to get out, I usually do what everyone else does and use the flat head screwdriver to pry them out. They press back into place pretty easily. I didn't notice the tools or sockets falling out or becoming loose during transport of the case. Though if the set is bouncing around in the bed of the truck that may occur. The case setup is different being shaped kind of like a suitcase. I liked this it made the case easier to carry. There are no sliding plastic drawers which are super difficult to slide out and frustrating. Instead it's a swinging door type setup. The tool case probably weighs ~20lbs or so. Manageable but your arm will get tired if you have to carry this case long distances. Case is somewhat sizable, too big to slip under a seat in a vehicle for instance.Overall a good tool set, I'd recommend it. Understand the wrenches and ratchets are short in length meaning stubborn rusted or high torque bolts will be difficult or maybe impossible to remove with this tool set alone. Other than that limitation a great tool set for the average DIYer or hobbyist. If you work as a professional mechanic not a great set for you, spend more to get more.CheersEDIT: The set does include a 15mm wrench. I mistakenly stated it did not. 15mm is the largest "box end" wrench included in Metric. Metric wrenches 8 through 15 skipping 11. SAE 5/16" to 5/8". The 15mm and 5/8" wrenches are both reasonable size. But all the box end wrenches are a little small even by brick and mortar socket/tool set standards. FWIW The ratchets are not uncommonly small they are about average for what you usually get in these tool sets. Also there is a 3/4" deep socket which is effectively the same size and could be used interchangeably with a 19mm deep socket, in a pinch. Overall a better and more comprehensive tool set than perhaps I first gave it credit for. The screwdrivers included are particularly nice imo. They don't appear to be really great quality but the quantity is nice. You're not likely to come across a screw type connection without the corresponding bit. There are two (four total, five including the interchangeable driver) fixed magnetic head, large/small phillips and flat head screw drivers and one "interchangeable" large size screwdriver with a good collection of bits and an adapter to use 1/4" sockets. A nicer set imo than my review first gave it credit for. Basically all the tools do have a slight air of cheapness but it is after all a relatively cheap set. There are cheaper tools out there imo and I don't expect anything would actually break if used correctly. The sockets most likely wont hold up to a snap on 1/2" air hammer on a monster air compressor, and the ratchets might not survive a 250lb mechanic standing on them to crack loose a nut but if we're being reasonable and using the tools as designed, they should last perhaps for a lifetime. The box mine came in said MADE IN TAIWANI've revised my review to 5 stars.I would rate this set about 4.5 or 4.75 out of 5 stars. My only complaint is the box end wrenches are a little small even by cheapo tool standards, and I do wish the ratchets were longer. But the ratchets are about the size of any average ratchet included in these tools sets. Thanks for reading.
