These threaders work great. I had a very expensive set of heavy duty threaders, but they disappeared. The house I'm working on now needed some gas pipe moved. I looked on-line and found this set with mostly good reviews. I figured for $60.00 or so,how could I go wrong. Get through this job and it will be well worth it; I used the 1/2" and 3/4" threaders, not a problem. They worked great! I always use lots of cutting oil. My furnace man came over and he threaded a couple of pipes to reach a furnace. He thought I was kidding him on the price of this set. I also purchased a pipe vise and a large pipe cutter, both each for under $30.00. I replaced all my missing tools for gas pipe repairs for under $120.00 using Amazon smile. I don't need to spend top dollar for tools I only use occasionally. Read the reviews, you should have some knowledge of the items you purchase. If I was using cutters and threaders full time, I would have to buy the professional set for $900.00.
